This stunning 1800’s farmhouse presented several challenges and renovation goals for our clients. Firstly, they wanted to add a new washroom on the second floor, as well as establish an efficient heating and cooling system that would serve both levels of the house. Additionally, ensuring the structural integrity of the farmhouse was a top priority.

To address these needs, we installed a new HVAC system that covered both the main floor and the second floor. Importantly, we concealed the HVAC system within a decorative ceiling, preserving the farmhouse's aesthetic charm. During the renovation, we discovered that the original beams were hidden gems, adding a unique character to the space.

In the living room, we installed a new window. However, this task required us to repair the existing wall due to its deteriorated condition. Furthermore, the stairs and the upstairs hallway needed attention due to the house settling over time, resulting in a significant change in floor level. Nevertheless, we successfully resolved this issue, ensuring that the floors now looked proper and aligned with the rest of the house.
